Bobby Hull Siblings: Meet Dennis Hull

Bobby Hull was a famous Canadian professional ice hockey player born in Point Anne, Belleville, Canada, on January 3, 1939.

He liked ice hockey from a young age and had a good first season, coming in second place for the Calder Memorial Trophy.

As a Black Hawk, he wore numbers 16 and 7, but eventually switched to his renowned number 9, an homage to his boyhood hero Gordie Howe, a Canadian professional ice hockey player (born, March 31, 1928 – died, June 10, 2016).

Hull became a sought-after ice hockey player. He played for the Chicago Blackhawks, Winnipeg Jets, and Hartford Whalers in the NHL for 23 years.

One of the finest hockey players ever. His blonde hair, skating speed, scoring ability, end-to-end rushes, and high-velocity shooting earned him the nickname “The Golden Jet.”

In 1,063 NHL games, Hull scored 610 goals, 560 assists, 1,170 points, and 640 penalty minutes. His number 9 was retired by the Black Hawks, Jets, and Coyotes.

He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1983 and appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 1978. In 2003, Bobby got the Wayne Gretzky International Award, and in 2017, he was named one of the “100 Greatest NHL Players.”

On January 30, 2023, 84-year-old Bobby Hull died. His cause of death is unknown, however, the family was finalizing his burial arrangements at the time of this writing.
